BREAK YOUR SHAMEFUL SILENCE ON AFROPHOBIA IN
SOUTH AFRICA

The silence of the Ghanaian and other African governments over the
killing of fellow Africans in South Africa is shameful. Our brothers
and sisters are being killed, maimed, their shops looted and burnt.
Not only do these attacks threaten the unity and oneness of Africans,
they also make nonsense of the continental efforts towards breaking
the neck of apartheid and violate the human rights of the victims.
Yet the South African government continues to deny the existence of
this problem and does nothing to solve it. Worse, some of the
politicians exploit these Afrophobic sentiments for political gain.
We reiterate our call made on 21st April 2019 for all African
governments to cut diplomatic ties with the government of South
Africa in order to force them to do the right thing by acknowledging
the problem and dealing with it forthwith.
Africa is one. Africans are one.
